Atomic Mouse must protect Professor Invento's world-changing invention—an atomic-earth-generator capable of powering the planet—when the scheming Count Gatto and his henchman Shadow discover the plans and seize control of the device. With the professor forced to complete the machine against his will, Atomic Mouse races to stop Gatto from using its devastating volcano cannons, only to learn that the villain's reckless actions have triggered something far more dangerous lurking in the cosmos.

Professor Invento gets inspired to build the ultimate beach chair after spotting Mr. Hamfat's new one, and he sets about creating an elaborate contraption loaded with every modern convenience imaginable—from an umbrella and bookshelf to a food tray and ice bucket. As the inventor settles in to enjoy his day in the sun, the fruits of his labor prove to be quite the spectacle.

When Atomic Mouse visits Sing Song Prison at Warden Bumble's invitation, he finds something peculiar: the inmates are unusually content, and Count Gatto—who should be leaving—refuses to go. Suspecting foul play, Atomic Mouse discovers that Count Gatto and his bumbling accomplice Shadow have orchestrated an elaborate scheme using coded prison songs and a mysterious truck, with the warden and his reformed convicts caught in the middle of their criminal plot.
