Released as a Free Comic Book Day treat from Alterna in 2009, this special showcases a blood-splattered cover by Michael S. Bracco featuring two battered survivors — one wielding a baseball bat, the other armed with a rifle — making a desperate last stand against a lurching horde of grotesque, gore-soaked zombies that includes one unsettling figure in a cartoonish mask. Written and illustrated entirely by H. C. Noel, the interior story "The Chair" promises a self-contained dose of undead tension from an indie publisher that also throws in bonus preview pages from across their full lineup.
