Tensions are high on the Shi'ar homeworld as the Kree Starforce have been captured, Earth is threatened by the Shi'ar stargate, and the Nega-Bomb is missing. This erupts into battle as the Avengers take on the Imperial Guard. Things only come to a halt when Lilandra's adviser is revealed to be a Skrull. Lilandra elects to send Ultimus back to the Kree to negotiate for peace. Quasar contacts the Avengers and tells them he has located the Nega-Bomb.
