Bêtes et méchants #2
Patrick Larme's *Les Sorcières* brings the second installment of "Bêtes et méchantes" to life with a wonderfully sinister cover: a cackling, scraggly witch tears across a crescent moon on her broomstick, while a glowering jack-o'-lantern looms large overhead and a giant spider web stretches ominously in the background. The whole scene crackles with Halloween energy — playfully creepy rather than genuinely frightening, striking just the right tone for this 2000 Bagheera release. Fans of darkly comic art with a seasonal bite will find this one hard to resist.
