# "Babs" #5 Synopsis This issue is an anthology featuring multiple stories. The cover story follows a girl who must marry one of several suitors by Saturday night or face being shot squarely between the eyeballs. "Ol' Man Mose!" by Boody Rogers depicts an unmarried woman on Friday who still wears a cumbersome brace and considers taking it off, with Ol' Man Mose and a character offering marriage proposals as solutions. "Tree-Top and Babe" by Boody Rogers shows a large figure in winter clothing discovering a cozy cabin in a snowy forest and encountering someone at the door. A prose story also appears in the issue involving a character named Diva seeking employment and her father's concerns about his dahlia plants and involvement in a flower show competition.
