A newspaper clipping from an old wedding announcement had reached her earlier, making her believe it was too late to reach out. When Leslie spots her, he claims he's in town for business and asks about her husband—she lets him believe she's married, leaving their past hanging in the air. Ayant travaillé à Paris pendant trois ans, Corrine voit Leslie avec une autre femme et repense avec regret.
