Having suffered the loss of a hand in the battle with Ghost-Breaker, Batman struggles to overcome his injury. While Julia and Selina battle against the Leatherwings, Alfred tries to rally Gotham's elite to leave their sealed tower to help Gotham's citizens from the Red Mask's gas attack. Red Mask is able to merge with the Joker's mind at the point that he went insane, but is unable to re-create the Joker's madness. Red Mask then travels across the Earths of the Multiverse empowering the Jokers of each world, and Batman follows him across the Multiverse attempting to stop him.
