Batman and the Outsiders #16
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeJim Aparo's cover for this December 1984 issue sets up a genuinely compelling mystery: Halo, wide-eyed and startled, floats at the center of the image as Batman looms behind her and Katana reaches toward her from the right, while two figures in the foreground — an older man and woman — declare "Don't you know us, Halo...? ...We're your mother and father!" The tagline "The Truth About Halo, Part One" promises that Mike W. Barr is digging into the secrets of one of the Outsiders' most enigmatic members. It's a sharp, emotionally charged setup that makes it hard not to want to turn the page.
