Batman - One Bad Day: Mr. Freeze #[nn]
Part of DC's prestige "One Bad Day" line, this oversized one-shot pairs writer Gerry Duggan with artist Matteo Scalera and colorist Dave Stewart for "The Darkest Winter" — a title that feels entirely earned. The cover, illustrated by Scalera, frames everything through a chilling perspective: Mr. Freeze's massive gloved hands cradle what appears to be a snow globe, inside which a snowy city street plays out a pursuit between Batman and a fleeing figure, all loomed over by Freeze's helmeted face with its glowing red visor. It's a quietly unsettling image — Gotham rendered as something fragile and contained, held at the mercy of one cold, deliberate grip.
