“Chapter One: The Enemy Of My Enemy”

In "Chapter One: The Enemy Of My Enemy," Batman faces a chilling mystery when a mutated monster tooth—harboring Joker DNA—begins absorbing organic matter in the Batcave. After a failed rescue that leaves a young boy orphaned, Batman follows a trail of genetic clues to a company linked to an old acquaintance, but with James Gordon still missing, he makes a desperate alliance with the one man he can't trust: the Joker. Written and illustrated by Marc Silvestri, with colors by Arif Prianto and letters by Troy Peteri, this 2023 DC thriller blends psychological tension and high-stakes investigation, all anchored by Silvestri’s striking cover art.
