Batman & The Joker: The Deadly Duo: The Deluxe Edition #[nn]
In "Chapter One: The Enemy Of My Enemy," Batman faces a twisted new threat when a mutated monster tooth—harboring Joker DNA—begins absorbing organic matter in the Batcave. After a failed rescue that leaves a young boy orphaned, Batman traces the genetic anomaly to a shadowy company tied to an old acquaintance, forcing him to make an unthinkable alliance. Written and illustrated by Marc Silvestri, with colors by Arif Prianto and letters by Troy Peteri, this gripping chapter of *Batman & The Joker: The Deadly Duo: The Deluxe Edition* sets a chilling tone with its stark visuals and escalating dread. The cover, also by Marc Silvestri, captures the uneasy tension between hero and villain with haunting precision.
