This issue features "Wild Bill Hickok: Indian," a story depicting Hickok in combat against Native Americans, as well as "Billy the Kid—Avenger!", a tale about Billy the Kid's personal war against a hired killer gang that has taken over the town of Lincoln. The Billy the Kid story explains that Jesse James and his associates plan to rob the Liberty Bank in Missouri, and Billy attempts to stop them, with the narrative indicating the theft is prevented by the dry rustling of greenbacks being thrust into a bag.
