After coming home late on a date with Archie and lying about where they were, Veronica faces some very angry parents. She then decides to move into an apartment away from her controlling parents. Her father suspends her checking account and credit cards, forcing Ronnie to get a part-time job as a waitress while still attending Riverdale High. Not wanting anyone to know where she works, Veronica lies about her work and her apartment, which is a noisy party house thanks to her college roommate. Betty figures out the truth and then hatches a plan to reconcile Veronica and her father.
