Dilton defends Archie from Nick's lies about the fight to the gang at Pop's Chocklit Shoppe. Then, the gang decides that Veronica needs to be shown Nick's true character. Betty hatches a scheme that does just that, with Betty as the bait. Veronica finds out that Nick and Betty are dating behind her back and refuses to have anything to do with them again. Nick then gets sent off to military school following his behaviorial problems at Riverdale High.
