Big Bang Comics #29
"Knight Of The Living Dead [Part 2]" delivers a chilling twist in Kirk Uhlmann’s eerie tale, where a well-intentioned act of justice spirals into horror. After Dr. Thompson saves a life and honors a dead colleague’s legacy, he unknowingly resurrects the very man he tried to help—Dr. Higgenboth, now a zombie driven only by a single, unchanging instinct. With Jefferson Wood handling art, inks, and lettering, the story unfolds with stark, unsettling precision, and Chris Ecker and Jim Brozman’s cover captures the grim tension perfectly. A 3.95 USD comic from 2000 that lingers long after the final page.

Dr. Higgenboth is murdered by his jealous co worker Dr. Mason. Dr. Thompson catches Mason in the act and kills Mason in self defense. Thompson finishes Higgenboth's research and donates the proceeds to Higgenboth's widow and even checks up on his now Fatherless family. Higgenboth is so grateful, that he comes back to life as a zombie, digs himself out of his buried casket, makes his way to Thompson's lab and kills Thompson, because the range of expression for the undead is limited. The zombie only knows how to kill. So no good deed goes unpunished.
