Big Boy fails to show up to accept an award for achieving 500 issues. Dolly, Zack, and Nugget go to his house, but he is "taking the day off." Seeing Big Boy's checkered overalls on the clothesline, the three all come up with the idea of impersonating him to receive the award. At the end Big Boy is shown reading the comic the story appears in.
