Part of Glénat's "Collection BD Noire," this 1983 album by Panebarco delivers the kind of deadpan absurdist humor the imprint did so well. The cover sets the tone perfectly: a wide-eyed woman soaking in a bathtub looks up in surprise at a stocky, hat-wearing figure in a striped suit who looms in the doorway with unmistakable comic menace. It's a wonderfully staged scene — part noir parody, part slapstick — that promises the irreverent wit the title Tous les spermatozoïdes de l'olympe boldly announces.
