In the first, Billy stops a stagecoach to save Tom from being killed by Deep Gulliver's gang, drawing his gun slowly but accurately despite his lame hand, earning praise from a seasoned lawman. In "Gunslick Tribe," Red Hogan's roaring colts feud with the Rangers, with Hogan's men stalking Billy for two days to provoke him into drawing first, but Billy ultimately avoids the trap and Hogan is forced to ride out. The final story depicts Billy, now operating under the alias Bruce Ridley and registered at a hotel as a federal marshal, attempting to capture the fugitive Cooney with the help of an accomplice, while Billy remains confident in his ability to outmaneuver his opponents despite their numerical advantage.
When Billy the Kid rides into Red Gulch with an injured gun hand, he crosses paths with Tom Maxwell, a young rancher who's spent a year obsessively practicing his draw to challenge the legendary gunslinger. Desperate to prove himself the fastest in the West, Tom forces a confrontation—but he doesn't realize Billy's vulnerability, and neither does the gang of outlaws watching from the crowd who see an unexpected opportunity to finally take down their greatest obstacle. What unfolds is a tense standoff that will test whether raw ambition and speed can overcome experience and cunning.
Tripp Dekker crosses the Rio Grande into Mexico to hunt down Carlos Casey after Casey robs him of his cattle money and leaves him knocked cold in a saloon. When Dekker tracks Casey to his hideout village, he discovers the outlaw has terrorized the locals into submission—but finds unexpected allies in the frightened townspeople who are desperate to see Casey driven out. Dekker must outmaneuver Casey's guns and traps to settle the score and bring justice to a town held hostage by fear.
Billy the Kid finds himself at the center of a blood feud when the tough rancher Red Hogan forces a gunfight and gets winged for his trouble—but Red has nearly thirty gun-slick relatives in the hills, and they're all hungry for revenge. Knowing innocent townspeople could get caught in the crossfire, Billy devises a desperate gambit to face down the entire Hogan clan at a remote grove, where he'll need all his wits (and a little help from an old friend) to survive. It's a tense showdown between one man's code and a family's thirst for blood.
