# Billy the Kid #13 This issue contains two Billy the Kid stories. In the first, Billy stops a stagecoach to save Tom from being killed by Deep Gulliver's gang, drawing his gun slowly but accurately despite his lame hand, earning praise from a seasoned lawman. In "Gunslick Tribe," Red Hogan's roaring colts feud with the Rangers, with Hogan's men stalking Billy for two days to provoke him into drawing first, but Billy ultimately avoids the trap and Hogan is forced to ride out. The final story depicts Billy, now operating under the alias Bruce Ridley and registered at a hotel as a federal marshal, attempting to capture the fugitive Cooney with the help of an accomplice, while Billy remains confident in his ability to outmaneuver his opponents despite their numerical advantage.
