When Billy the Kid stumbles upon a campfire in the rain, he's accused of murdering a man named John Wooten and stealing his gold—caught red-handed by Sheriff Mallon and a determined posse. Billy the Kid crashes a fiesta thrown by a Mexican nobleman, and his dancing with the host's beautiful daughter sparks a deadly confrontation with her jealous fiancé Don Carlos. When the situation spirals into chaos, Billy makes a daring escape—but soon finds himself hunted across the countryside, forced to hide in a small village where he'll discover that Don Carlos's cruelty runs far deeper than a lover's quarrel.
