In "Revenge Fever," Billy the Kid rides out at night to find a boy consumed by hatred for Overland Mania Fred, who killed the boy's father, and learns the boy has murdered Fred in revenge. Billy encounters Jean Burnett and Rick Hibs, who visit him in jail to discuss the shooting; Billy insists he did not kill Jeff Burnett, the banker, and never shot anyone in the back, though the judge doubts his innocence and sentences him to jail. Mr. Hibs offers Billy a gun to escape that night, but Billy refuses, determined to prove his innocence rather than flee. The issue also includes a full-page advertisement for the Jowett Institute of Physical Culture's muscle-building courses.

Wolfbait
8 pp · Western-Frontier

Billy the Kid tracks down Bat Wheeler, the killer responsible for a murder Billy's been framed for, across a brutal mountain wilderness during a blizzard—with help from an old trapper who knows the terrain and a persistent wolf pack at their heels. As Billy closes in on Wheeler holed up in a mountain cave, he's got to bring the killer back alive to clear his name in Sutter's Corners, no matter what the weather or the odds throw at him. A frontier tale of survival, pursuit, and redemption set against one of the harshest landscapes a man can face.

Revenge Fever
8 pp · Western-Frontier

Billy the Kid stumbles upon a boy named Dodie consumed by fury over his father's death—a man swindled and murdered by the crooked land dealer Fred Bencher. When Dodie's thirst for revenge nearly leads him to cold-blooded killing, Billy intervenes and takes matters into his own hands, orchestrating a confrontation that forces Bencher to face justice in a way Dodie never could have managed alone. It's a tale of how raw vengeance can blind you to better paths, and how sometimes the fastest gun in the West knows when to aim for something more than just pulling a trigger.

Killer Not Wanted!
5 pp · Western-Frontier

Billy the Kid finds himself falsely accused of murdering a banker in Red River, but when a bank safe is blown open the same night he escapes custody, he realizes the real culprit framed him—and he's determined to uncover the truth before the posse catches up with him. With help from unexpected allies and a banker's grieving daughter torn between suspicion and doubt, Billy races to expose the real killer and clear his name.
