The cover by Jaime Hernandez says it all: a grinning, patchwork-faced Bizarro looms large against a cosmic purple sky, manipulating marionette strings that dangle down to Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and the Flash — DC's finest reduced to puppets on a stage. It's a wonderfully absurd image that perfectly captures the spirit of this 2005 DC hardcover anthology, in which the imperfect duplicate who proudly wears his "Bizarro No. 1" badge gets to call the shots.
