This anthology issue features two Black Cat Western stories. In the first story, Linda Turner dons the Black Cat costume to rescue a professor from a shark attack and a dangerous adversary, discovering the villain has rigged a piano wire throttle as a booby trap. In the second story, when child star Billy Blair disappears from a Century Studios lot, Linda Turner as the Black Cat investigates "The Murderous Monkeyshine" and encounters a criminal operating in the area, while a woman named Karen investigates her own mystery involving her missing husband and a suspicious character from the coal mines.
