Three mischievous purple imps — one sporting antlers and a "YASS QUEEN" sash, another wielding a long staff crowned with a pentagram, and a third in a "666"-emblazoned hood — have clearly claimed a cluttered bookshop as their own turf, with a ghostly robed figure browsing the shelves behind them and a brilliant golden bird-like flame erupting above. It's a delightfully weird blend of occult mischief and cozy bibliophile atmosphere that feels completely at home in Black Cloud's anything-goes world. Jason Latour, Ivan Brandon, Greg Hinkle, and Matt Wilson bring their signature energy to this 2018 Image series in fine form.
