Black Diamond is arrested for the cold-blooded murder of a friendly Indian, but he escapes and flees on horseback, convinced of his own innocence. Two days later at Fort Atkins, Black Diamond encounters a silver-headed man who tells him of a previous encounter with another Black Diamond in Silver Canyon, revealing that an outlaw named Bumps uses that hideout. Black Diamond infiltrates Silver Canyon to confront the real culprit, and after a tense standoff involving his horse Reliapon, he defeats the impostor Felcher and clears his name.
