“Black Kiss Book Seven”

In "Black Kiss Book Seven," Pollack follows a cryptic lead from Murtaugh’s belongings to an invitation that pulls him into the secretive Order of Bonniface. There, he uncovers a chilling link between Hollywood’s golden age and a cult that venerates Charles 'Bubba' Kenton, a legendary 1920s star and husband to Beverly Grove. Written and illustrated by Howard Chaykin, with additional art by Ella Vine and inks by Chaykin, the issue’s moody, noir-infused visuals are matched by a cover by Chaykin that captures the story’s dark allure.
