Black Magic #12

Black Magic #12 is an anthology of supernatural tales featuring multiple stories. One story involves a Halloween party where townspeople ask elderly Pop Seeley to tell a frightening story, which he relates about a stubborn Hessian soldier from the American Revolution. Another story depicts a colonial hansman and a commissioner's encounter with a monstrous python in an African jungle that terrorizes a native village, with the creature returning repeatedly to attack the settlement until the village is eventually deserted and left as a ghost town beneath the African moon.
