Blade and Whistler are approached by vampires of the House of Erebus and asked to help stop a mutant strain of the vampire virus which creates the powerful Reapers. Blade and his vampiric allies go after Jared Nomak, the first Reaper, only to find that he is the son of the leader of the Erebus Clan who genetically modified his own son to create a super-vampire. Even after uncovering treachery in his own ranks, Blade and Nyssa battle all of the vampires and help stop the threat of the Reapers forever.
