The cover by Andy Park and Jonathan Sibal captures the tension of a world where the supernatural feels all too real.

Dr. Ryerson has published her findings in the amazing case of the woman who came back from the dead. Ryan approaches her and tells her that her life is now in danger from her kind. Susan and her son are attacked by a young stranger but Ryan intervenes and saves them. Ryan tells Dr. Ryerson her story, which sounds very close to a vampire tale, and agrees to let the doctor study her.
