Bofuri: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, So I'll Max Out My Defense #7

Volume 7 of Jirou Oimoto's adaptation of Yuumikan's original story finds Maple in a strikingly different look — trading her signature black armor for a flowing gold coat and goggles, leaping energetically across a steampunk-flavored rooftop cityscape. She's juggling what appears to be a set of syringes in one hand and a cheerful skull-faced barrel in the other, suggesting her talent for stumbling into wonderfully weird new skills is very much intact. Character designs by Koin keep Maple's blue-haired charm front and center, and this 2024 entry looks like a delightful new chapter in New World Online's most entertainingly unorthodox adventure.
