The second chapter of Marvano's Bonneville series places us squarely in 1968, with a helmeted rider in a pink-and-white helmet and black leather gear filling the cover against a swirling, psychedelic backdrop of paisley curves and a small blue bird — a striking collision of motorsport grit and the era's free-spirited visual language. Marvano's clean, confident linework makes the figure feel both purposeful and quietly defiant, face half-obscured yet fully compelling. If the first volume drew you in, this 2018 Dargaud release promises the series hitting its stride.
