“Kiss All You Want”

In "Kiss All You Want," Wendy faces a heartfelt crossroads as she weighs her feelings between two very different men—tough, determined Lon and gentle, introspective Bert—both serving in Korea. When news of their injuries brings them home, Wendy’s true feelings begin to surface, but not before a quiet sacrifice from Bert leaves a lasting mark. Frank Bolle’s expressive art captures the emotional weight of this tender, bittersweet story, while Fred Kida’s cover perfectly frames the moment’s quiet tension.

Wendy is unsure if she wants to marry "forceful" Lon or "sensitive" Bert. She agrees to give them her decision when they return from military service in Korea. When Wendy hears both men have been wounded and are coming home, she realizes it is Lon she wants to marry. Bert arrives first and she can't bring herself to tell him of her decision. Bert winds up in the hospital with pneumonia and no will to live. Before he dies, he tells Wendy that Lon saved his life. Lon comes back and will marry Wendy.
