To escape a cold northeast winter, Felix literally walks down to Georgia having many misadventures along the way. There, he meets a lonely little boy, Danny Dooit, who loves the cat. However, Danny's parents do not want a cat in the house, and send Felix away. Broken-hearted, Danny sets out to find his beloved pet.
