Written by Vic Lockman and illustrated by Pete Alvarado, with vibrant colors by the Western Publishing Production Shop and sharp lettering by Rome Siemen, this 1967 adventure features a cover by Phil De Lara.

Uncle Decky, the seafaring Flintstone, sends his parrot to nephew Fred to keep him out of the hands of pirates. Pete the Parrot has memorized the directions to Uncle Decky's treasure, but will only spill the beans to a familiar-looking face. So, the pirates kidnap family-resembling Fred along with the parrot, and force them on the trail to treasure.
