“Abominable Bunny”

In the snowy peaks of the mountains, a peculiar bunny known as Bugs is mistaken for a thief after campers find their gear mysteriously swapped for pine cones and berries. Though he’s just trying to trade for the things he needs, the campers are convinced a shadowy, long-eared intruder is behind the thefts. "Abominable Bunny" by Don R. Christensen, with art by John Carey and cover by Pete Alvarado, spins a whimsical mystery where the real culprit might be the one everyone’s chasing.

In a mountainous wooded area, a wild unkempt bunny of the mountains is "trading" ordinary forest objects such as pine cones for campers' equipment and food. The campers believe their possessions were stolen by a slim, shadowy figure with long ears. Being a bunny, Bugs fits the general description and is branded a thief.
