Brickleberry #1

Waco O'Guin and Roger Black's animated hit makes the leap to comics with this Dynamite series, Brickleberry: Armoogeddon, and the cover sets an appropriately unhinged tone. A battle-scarred, eye-patched figure in a flowing black cape charges across a skull-littered wasteland, hoisting an enormous glowing cannon while alien saucers streak laser beams overhead against a smoldering crimson sky. It's a wonderfully absurd collision of post-apocalyptic grit and cartoon comedy, rendered with real energy by artist Jeff Rebner.
