Doddy and Jim wed, but keep it a secret until they’re financially able to live together. Doddy’s father falls ill and the medical expenses are great; Doddy is fired from her job due to the stress. Her boss re-hires her to escort potential clients, which makes Jim jealous. Jim and Doddy reconcile after he’s injured in an auto accident, and they’re both offered good jobs by another man.
