Brides in Love #17
In "Forever Is Now," Joe Gill and Joe Sinnott deliver a heartfelt story of love and sacrifice, following Lisa and her husband Carl after he’s injured on the job. When Lisa lies about his doctor’s orders to keep him from returning to his dangerous work, a rift forms—only to be mended when the truth about her fear and their upcoming baby finally comes to light. The emotional core of this 1960 Charlton classic is captured in the tender, expressive art by Joe Sinnott, with inks by Vince Colletta, and a cover by the same duo that brings the moment to life.
