Volume 4 of Lynn Okamoto's *Brynhildr in the Darkness* leads with a striking, unconventional cover: a pink-haired, blue-eyed young woman in a sailor-style uniform and purple bow gazes coolly at the reader while her bare feet extend toward the foreground in a bold, low-angle perspective.
