Bucket List of the Dead #12

Volume 12 of Haro Aso and Kotaro Takata's post-apocalyptic survival series takes a sun-drenched turn, with the cover placing the cast squarely on a sandy beach bathed in a warm orange sunset. A blonde young woman in a green bikini dominates the foreground, glancing back with a mischievous smile, while a pink-haired woman in a bikini top, a muscular bare-chested man, and two other survivors scramble across the sand behind her. It's a surprisingly lively, almost carefree scene for a series about outrunning the undead — and that contrast is a big part of what makes *Bucket List of the Dead* such an enjoyable ride.
