Bugs Bunny #158
In "The Hare Brain," Bugs Bunny hatches a hare-brained scheme to turn Elmer Fudd into a rock star—by pretending to be a baby prodigy, complete with a tiny cape and a tiny guitar. When the stunt draws the ire of Ronny Bebop, a former circus midget now famous for the same act, his hulking bodyguard is sent to shut down the competition. Written by Mark Evanier and illustrated by Tom McKimson, with lettering by Larry Mayer and coloring by the Western Publishing Production Shop, this 1974 classic features a cover by Ralph Heimdahl, capturing the absurdity in full, 25-cent glory.
