Cable continues his jaunt through time in order to evade Bishop and keep the mutant baby safe. Meanwhile, back on earth, Cyclops is plagued with nightmares as he is trying to deal with the guilt of once again sending his son into the future alone. He tries everything possible to track Bishop and Cable, employing the services of X-Force, Forge and Beast. With his efforts proving unsatisfactory, he buries a capsule message to his son in the ruins of X-Mansion hoping that Cable will find it in the future.
