When Misty doesn't show for a date, Cage goes looking for her. She proves not to be at the police station or at home. A prisoner in lock up tells him that all the heroes in town are disappearing. Three X-Men are at Misty's apartment and knock Cage through the window where upon crashing to the ground he is pursued by villains trying to kill him. He escapes on a panel truck only to be knocked out by 2 cat like creatures.
