Cage of Eden #3
Volume 3 of Yoshinobu Yamada's survival manga puts two very different characters front and center: a battered, wide-eyed dark-haired boy in a blue uniform, his clothes torn and bloodied, squares off against a towering, grinning blond with rings on his fingers and an unsettling confidence radiating off him. The contrast between the two — desperate determination versus cool menace — immediately signals that the island's dangers aren't limited to prehistoric creatures. If this cover is any indication, the human element of *Cage of Eden* is every bit as threatening as the wilderness surrounding them.
