Volume 10 of Kotoyama's nocturnal vampire romance brings together three figures in a dimly lit, abandoned-looking interior — a tall, sharp-eyed young woman in a black dress standing apart, while a hoodie-clad girl with braided hair drapes herself over the back of a worn armchair where a sullen-looking young man slouches. The cool blue atmosphere and that bold yellow title lettering give the whole scene a mood that's equal parts eerie and oddly intimate. If you've been following this series, this 2022 installment looks like it's deepening the tension between its central trio in style.
