He was chosen as the last survivor and imprisoned in a book, which he entrusts to primitive men for safekeeping from the "Cat People." Captain 3D and his team, including Tigra and Skweel, discover the book and create special 3D glasses charged with the same life-force contained within it, allowing them to see the alien's form. Captain 3D must return the book to prevent his own death, leading to a tense confrontation where dangerous men are set loose to interfere with his mission.
A mysterious stranger entrusts young Danny Davis with a strange book before vanishing into thin air—but when Danny peers at its contents through a pair of 3D glasses, the illustration inside springs to life as Captain 3-D, a last survivor from an ancient parallel dimension locked in a fifty-thousand-year conflict with the Cat People. Now Danny and his newfound protector must guard the book from the descendants of these shape-shifting enemies, who will stop at nothing to reclaim it and claim dominion over the world.
When a phantom thief terrorizes the city with superhuman strength, Captain 3-D's young pal Danny Davis begins to suspect his hero of the crimes—but his investigation into the truth leads him to a hidden laboratory where the villain Tigra has discovered how to create living beings from paper cutouts using the same mysterious life-force that powers Captain 3-D himself. Now Danny and Captain 3-D must stop Tigra and her paper-doll army of slaves before they can complete their next heist, all while the Cat People's ruthless leader plots her revenge.
When a young boy named Danny witnesses a suspicious construction crew operating near a prison, he alerts Captain 3D to what might be a daring breakout—and his instincts prove all too correct. Iron Hat McGinty, a criminal with a steel plate in his skull and a ruthless gang of construction experts at his command, is using building equipment as tools of destruction to pull off a series of dangerous heists. Captain 3D and Danny must outsmart the madman and his crew before McGinty's next job puts innocent lives in jeopardy.
