Captain America No. 32 [Marvel Legends Reprint] #[nn]
In "Super Patriot Part Four," Steve Rogers arrives at Rachel’s apartment with flowers, only to discover her tragically dead at the hands of an amplified Red Skull. The ensuing clash between Captain America and the Skull brings the building down around them, until the recently deceased Diamondback—revealed to be a prototype Life Model Decoy—rises from the rubble to deliver a brutal beating. With Nick Fury and SHIELD arriving to secure the Skull, Steve is reunited with the real Rachel, who’s been safe with Fury all along. Written by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Scot Eaton, with inks by Drew Geraci, colors by Rob Schwager, and letters by Randy Gentile, the cover by Dave Johnson captures the chaos in striking detail.
