“Captain Marvel and the Genius of the Garret”

In "Captain Marvel and the Genius of the Garret," Mr. Mind stumbles through a crisis of evil when his amnesia leaves him unable to devise a new scheme—so he enrolls in his own School for Evil to reclaim his villainous edge. When Billy Batson is captured again by Archibald the Satyr, Captain Marvel springs into action, tearing through the school’s halls in a furious search, though the mastermind himself remains hidden. Written by Otto Binder and brought to life with bold, dynamic art by C. C. Beck—both interior and cover—this 1945 classic captures the peak of Fawcett’s Golden Age charm.
