As Captain Midnight pursues the conspiracy, he uncovers a shadowy "Legion of the Lost," a gang of escaped convicts and former military pilots with connections that run far deeper than simple crime, forcing him to track them from a naval patrol ship to a daring prison break orchestrated by blimp.
