Captain Midnight responds to an emergency involving a saboteur at a train station who plants a bomb aboard a train headed toward the nation's capital. After R.C. and his sidekick Quickie retrieve and defuse the explosive device, Captain Midnight investigates the sabotage and discovers a German spy operating in the area. In a climactic confrontation, Captain Midnight encounters the German agent at an airfield, where the spy attempts to use fog to escape; however, Captain Midnight ultimately thwarts the enemy operative and prevents further sabotage.
