After a dangerous encounter involving gunfire and an emergency landing, Captain Midnight and Ickey discover figures lurking near a camp and move to investigate their suspicious presence. The issue also includes a "Captain Tootsie" advertisement story in which Captain Tootsie visits an Army airfield in the Southwest and demonstrates a high-speed fighter plane that operates electrically with a range of 6,000 miles and a cabin pressurized for high-altitude flight.
